The story of Fluid Blue Productions really begins in 1999 when I moved from teaching in a traditional classroom to teaching via distance learning at a marine research laboratory. The new surroundings provided me with the opportunity to share with students current stories of scientific investigations and discoveries. In the years that followed I was introduced to filmmaking and, from that, the concept for Fluid Blue gradually evolved. The navigational beacons that serve as my guide are the goals of creating natural history films that are engaging, accurate, inspiring and genuine and providing resources for teachers, students and the public interested in the oceans and the natural world. While the oceans are my particular area of interest, my focus is to move "fluidly" between sky and sea wherever there are compelling natural history stories to be told.
Thanks for visiting Fluid Blue Productions!
